This job is in the Fingerprints sensors team which is focused on design and development of Fingerprint sensor software stack. More particularly, the job involves design and development of sensor software which resides on Linux Kernel as well in a trusted security environment. The engineer will report to the FP Sensor lead in this role. In this role, the candidate will: Design, code and deliver high quality embedded software Be expected to be hands-on, writing driver code /user space code and unit testing it to ensure high quality. Optimize the code for performance, power and memory needs Define the test plan along with QA teams for the software deliverable. Communicate with QA and Customer support teams to support the Sensor software Communicate with Product Marketing and other teams to understand the requirements and design/code to the requirements.

Bachelors /Masters degree in Computer Science or Electronics or similar technical field 3+ years of experience in embedded software or driver code Knowledge of C or C++.
